Newman Gets Nautical 

Spoiler alert. Our website is under a bit of a re-design. Yeah, it’s going to be good. So as we sort through all of our past project photos we thought it would make for a really great blog series to highlight some of our favorite (and best) home re-modeling and construction projects.

Today, we kick-off the series with this contemporary and nautical home in Miami. This was a fun one! The concept behind the interior design of the home was created for a family who loves to sail so in their design, they wanted to see a touch of nautical inspiration, since the past time is such a large part of their lives. Through the use of material and furniture selections and of course color, the designers were able to achieve a sea-inspired home that is still updated and contemporary. As the General Contractor on the job, Newman Construction was responsible for overseeing and executing all of the details you see now in the photos. From flooring installation (both tile and carpet) to installing the custom kitchen, all baseboards and custom doors, installing all ceiling light fixtures including the recessed spots and of course window treatments, air conditioning, plumbing and painting of the entire home.

In the end, the result is this spectacular retreat for our clients to love and call home. Enjoy the photos.
