Miami Home Project Update – A Massive Lighting Installation 

Yes, Christmas is 2 days away but that doesn’t mean rest for the Newman Construction boys! This Miami home needed a transformation in time to host a holiday party. Have no fear, the Newman Team is here! After consulting the Interior Design team that we are working with on the project, reviewing the construction documents (also known as “the plans”) with them to make sure we are installing these beautiful large globes in the correct place in this Modern home, it was time to hang these bad boys!

Since the lighting fixture is designed to hang from these (very tall) ceilings, we needed to rent a scaffold for the day, gear up to make the climb and move the scaffold around the room until all twelve bulbs were installed. Since the concept of the design is a clean aesthetic, we were to make sure that the lighting cords appear as if they are floating out of the ceiling. This required some extra maintenance – after all of the cords are hooked up behind the drywall, it needs to be smoothed over and to appear as if they simply just stick into the ceiling!

Voila! This Miami home is ready to host it’s Holiday party, just in time!
