Before & After: A Modern Miami Kitchen

Our client came to us with what seems like a simple request – “Help me update my kitchen and living room, and oh yeah, can you do it in two weeks?”

Because we love a design challenge at Newman Construction, we accepted! In just two weeks, my team of South Florida’s best contractors got together and got our hands dirty.

We started with the demolition – this is a brand new house that came equipped with a developer installed kitchen. The Kitchen was completed prior to the home’s closing so once the house was closed on, my South Florida contractor company completed the transformation in just two weeks.

The black countertops, lack of cabinet space, outdated and non-functional appliances all had to go. Our client was looking for an updated interior with an open and airy feel. The kitchen is where they spend most of their time as a family so the space needed to be perfect.

After demo, we installed brand new, white cabinets with a french-chic feel, including additional upper cabinets for added storage.The island was built out to accommodate bar stools and pendant lights were added for a contemporary touch and added light. A re-designed hood, stainless steel appliances and new hardware are all easy ways to contribute to an updated look.
