Cersaie 2015 Recap: Our Favorite Top 5

Cersaie 2015: Newman Construction Recaps Our Top 5 Favorite Finds

It’s that time of year again in Italy – the Cersaie 2015 interior design show has taken over the streets of Bologna, Italy. Exhibiting ceramic tile and bathroom furnishings from vendors and manufacturers across the world. As one of the most innovative and resourceful General Contractor’s in Miami, it is important for our team to understand the trends in the design world so that when we are executing according to plan, there is a flawless transition from concept to reality. We are constantly searching for ways to improve upon installation techniques and looking for fun and challenging designs to bring to life. The Cersaie 2015 show is a great inspirational resource.

So since we can’t be there this year to hop around booth to booth, we are doing our research online, following highlights from our favorite vendors! Below is a recap of our top 5 Cersaie 2015 Facebook and Twitter findings:

#1 – Porcelanosa Group

Since we are headquartered in Miami, a majority of the bathroom remodels we complete are modern and that means white, white, white! We love this new line from Porcelanosa firm, Venis. Inspired by the natural elements of the outdoors, this tile introduces warmth back into modern and contemporary design.

#2 – Architectural Ceramics

We agree with Architectural Ceramics that this bathroom installation of hexagon tiles incorporated through wood flooring and carried up on the bathroom walls is not only creative and innovative, but very well executed. We would love a challenge like this in one of our Miami home projects!

The Venis line transitions the textures, lines, form, shapes and colors beautifully from the outside to create a warm and inviting bathroom.

#4 – Ceramics of Italy

This mesmerizing photo from the Ceramics of Italy Twitter handle shows a beautiful new cut of Marble that is inspired by an island in Greece and so detailed in it’s veining. We can easily envision this ocean like material in a Miami Home project.

#5 – Ceramica Fioranese

That’s right, this is a wall covering. Painted to look like rustic wood, the line from Ceramica Fioranese is an effective and affordable way to dress your walls with style!
