Miami Construction: Starting with a Blank Slate
One of the most exciting aspects of being a Miami construction expert is starting with a home’s blank slate. Not only does this help us as a team to hone our craft as a top Miami General Contractor but it also helps to eliminate stress on the home owner.
Whenever shopping for an interior designer, architect or contractor, the process can be overwhelming and exhausting. That’s why you should always do your research and work with a firm that has had some great experience – flip through their portfolio (like ours here) or send an email to start a dialogue. When taking on a new construction project, we at Newman construction always like to kick-off with a close relationship. After all, the process is a personal one and in addition to skill, trust is a major requirement (on both ends!) when working with a general contractor on the re-design or new construction of your home.
Today on the Construction Talk Blog, we would like to share with you one of Newman’s latest projects, a home recently purchased by a young couple in the family-friendly area of Coral Gables. They placed a large investment on their new home and have gifted Newman with the responsibility of carrying through their vision for a home that not only will suit their functional needs and preferred aesthetic but a home that can house a growing family. A very exciting time for all of us! Most notably, the blank slate. We’ve completed demolition, cleared and smoothed the walls of any imperfections, prepared the sub floor and just recently have begun adding framing which will eventually lead to proper space planning.
Take a look at the starting photos below and let us know if you have any questions about the process in the comments section below! We would love to hear from you.
