Newman Construction Project Recap – A Modern Home Renovation in Miami 

One of our most popular projects to date is this beautiful home renovation in North Miami. Featured in Luxe magazine, which can be seen here, this construction project was a huge transformation. Completed in just six months (which is an accomplishment on it’s own) for a young couple with three children, we helped turn this outdated Mediterranean house into a beautiful and modern home.

Under the direction of interior design firm, Dkor Interiors, we created a building schedule based on the concept of accomplishing a modern and airy home renovation. Through large windows with ample light, clean lines and a strong connection to the natural South Florida surroundings, we would achieve this objective of the home’s design. We created a cohesive flow between the living room and dining room through a dropped ceiling and installation of materiality and lighting that set the rooms apart. Function, form and detail were key – we needed to make sure that no wall was left unfinished, no paint was chipped and no flooring was un-level.

Through the successful combination of thorough craftsmanship and thoughtful design, this home has become one of South Florida’s most well know, and one of our favorite projects as well!
